CCN supports Charter of Road Traffic Victims’ Rights
Claims Corporation Network (CCN) has become an official supporter of the Charter of Road Traffic Victims’ Rights, calling it a framework that offers “certainty to victims in an ever evolving claims’ landscape.”
Developed by COB, the Institute for European Traffic Law (IETL) and UNECE, the Charter is a voluntary code of conduct inspired by the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It emphasises compassion, fairness and efficiency in the handling of road traffic accident claims.
CCN, headquartered in Rotterdam and operating across 34 countries, manages over 100,000 claims annually for insurers, corporates and government agencies. Group CEO Cees Werff said the Charter helps bring stability and clarity across jurisdictions, benefiting both victims and insurers by reducing delays and unnecessary costs.
